JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The celebration of the St. Louis Blues first Stanley Cup championship is not limited to the St. Louis area.
Governor Mike Parson issued an order to illuminate the Capitol dome with blue lights Thursday night to celebrate the win.
"This is a well-deserved victory for a team that has inspired the people of St. Louis and Missouri throughout a hard-fought season. The Blues have made us all proud. Congratulations to the Stanley Cup Champions — St. Louis Blues,” Governor Parson said.
