A Missouri Olympian is headed to Paris, but she needs your help to bring her family with her

Price is headed for her third appearance in the Olympic Games in Paris.

ST. LOUIS — DeAnna Price is headed for Paris to compete for Team USA in hammer throw.

Price is hoping her family can travel with her to watch her sport. Price launched a fundraiser on the website GoFundMe to finance the trip.

The fundraiser reads, "I couldn't have done what I have done without them by my side."

She wants her parents, Ann and Dan Price, and her in-laws, Cheryl and Steve Lambert, to join her in Paris. She is married to J.C. Lambert, a fellow thrower who now coaches track.

So far Price has raised $2,600 of her $30,000 goal.

Her personal best hammer throw, 80.31 meters (263 feet, five inches) is the American record throw. Price competed in the Rio Games and in Tokyo.
