ST. LOUIS — Other than Kurt Warner with the Rams, we've never quite seen anything like what Blues goalie Jordan Binnington did last season.
To go from pretty much unknown to winning the Stanley Cup in the span of a few months? One of the best stories we've ever seen in our town.
5 On Your Side Sports Director Frank Cusumano sat down with Binnington for a game of "hit and run". It's fast-paced question and answer with no hedging allowed.
Here's a brief snippet of some of Binnington's answers. Did we mention he was a man of few words?
Frank Cusumano: "What other sport did you excel at?"
Jordan Binnington: "Street basketball"
FC: "You had a good jump shot?"
JB: "Yeah, I'm a shooter."
FC: "Could you dunk."
JB: "No."
FC: "What athlete would you like to change places with for a day?"
JB: "Tiger Woods."
FC: "When you're done playing hockey what would you want somebody to say about your career?"
JB: "Legend."
