ST. LOUIS — St. Louis, the gateway “soccer” city, will soon host its first-ever soccer playoffs, and tickets go on sale Friday.
The Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs are coming to St. Louis!
"We know we’re going to be the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, which means we’re going to have home-field advantage," St. Louis CITY SC Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service Edmound Elzy said.
Playoff tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for MyCity+ subscribers. Then, tickets go on sale at 2 p.m. Friday for the general public at seatgeek.com.
“We’re putting our inventory out there for the general public,” Elzy said. “But we’re going to sell out, pretty much right away. However, fans will still see seats on seatgeek.com because it’s going to be secondary inventory, people are reselling because they can’t make the match, or whatever. So, that’s still an opportunity. I would tell people just to keep going, keep checking.”
CITYPARK could host up to two round-one matches, with the first expected to be played on Oct. 29, 30, 31 or Nov. 1. The round-one best-of-three series schedule will be finalized upon the release of the full playoff schedule. A week passes in between matches.
St. Louis CITY SC has some special things planned for the first-ever soccer playoffs in St. Louis. You can follow the team on social media or get their app.
“There isn’t a bad seat in the house,” Elzy said. “If you’ve been here for a game, even all the way at the top, it’s still a really good seat. So, just getting in, it’s going to be electrifying.”
There is one last home game scheduled for Oct. 21 against Seattle. A block party will take place the night before, featuring pop singer-songwriter Ava Max.
