ST. LOUIS — St. Louis CITY SC is looking to build off its record-setting first season, and on Wednesday, the team released its regular-season schedule for 2024.
The season kicks off with dual home openers, a CONCACAF Champions League match at home against Houston on Feb. 20 and a regular-season match against Real Salt Lake on Feb. 24.

CITY will have just one matchup with Miami FC and Messi, but it will be on the road, so St. Louis soccer fans will miss out on seeing one of the greatest players in the history of the game again. Messi made his Miami FC debut one week after Miami visited CityPark.
CITY will have three chances to avenge their playoff loss against Sporting Kansas City in road matches on April 20 and July 20, and a home match on Sept. 28.
Every CITY SC match will be broadcast live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. The team also has three matches that will air on national TV:
- April 14 against Austin on FOX
- July 20 against Kansas City on Fox Sports 1
- Sept. 1 against LA Galaxy on FOX
St. Louis won five straight games to start their inaugural season, claiming 15 points. Only two other teams did so in their first five games, the 1996 LA Galaxy and 2012 Sporting Kansas City.
The team also set the record for the best start for an expansion team when it won its fourth consecutive game, surpassing the 2009 Seattle Sounders.
They won five straight before falling to the Minnesota United on April 2.
That hot start also helped them secure a Western Conference title.
The historic season came to an end when they were swept out of the playoffs by Sporting Kansas City.
