ST. LOUIS — Schedule, parking, parties and more! 

St. Louis CITY SC will make their MLS playoff debut at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 against Sporting Kansas City at CITYPARK. 

5 On Your Side has compiled a list of need-to-knows ahead of the historic event! Get ready to cheer on S-T-L!

Schedule 

Round One is a Best-of-3 series. 

Here's the schedule for Round One: 

  • Match 1: 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 at CITYPARK
  • Match 2: 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 at Children's Mercy Park
  • Match 3 (if necessary): 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at CITYPARK

Are tickets still available? 

The first match is sold out! 

But, tickets are still available for resale through SeatGeek. Some of the cheapest tickets you can find are priced at $98, but some are as high as $502. Premium tickets are also available for a higher price. 

CITY SC does have home-field advantage in the Western Conference if they advance, which means there could be an opportunity again for tickets!

Watch parties 

Fans who don't have tickets to the match can still be a part of the historic event! 

Cheer on CITY SC at the free, CITY SC-hosted and pet-friendly Playoffs Watch Party on the Lou Fusz Plaza. Fans can bring blankets and lawn chairs, enjoy food and drinks, watch the match on a big screen and take part in the cheers. 

If you can't make it to CITYPARK, plenty of St. Louis area bars and restaurants will broadcast the game as part of the CITY On Tap partnership.

How can I watch from home? 

Can't make it to CITYPARK or a local bar and restaurant to watch the match? That's okay! 

Match One will be broadcast on FS1 and streamed for free on the Apple TV app. Fans do not need the MLS Season Pass to watch the first match.

Who are they playing?

St. Louis CITY SC will play Sporting Kansas City in their first postseason match. 

CITY SC won two of three matches against Sporting Kansas City this season. Both of the wins came at CITYPARK. St. Louis outscored Kansas City 9-3 throughout the three-game series. 

No. 8 Sporting Kansas City beat No. 9 San Jose Earthquakes 4-2 in penalty kicks Wednesday night in the Western Conference Wild Card match.

St. Louis CITY SC won the Western Conference title and will be the No. 1 seed. They finished their historic inaugural season with a record of 17-12-5, 56 points overall. They tied the record for second-most points by an expansion team in league history, just missing out on the record set by Los Angeles FC with 57 in 2018.
