ST. LOUIS — St. Louis CITY SC will trade center-back Tim Parker to the New England Revolution, according to a report.
MLS and USMNT insider Tom Bogert reported that Parker would be traded to New England in exchange for center-back Henry Kessler. Bogert also said the Revolution would also be getting allocation money from CITY SC.
The 31-year-old posted on X, formerly known as Twitter seemingly about the trade:
Parker was traded to St. Louis in November 2022 ahead of their inaugural season. He was part of the team's historic first season, scoring the first goal in franchise history on Feb. 25, 2023.
In 2023, he made 28 appearances and scored four goals. In 2024, he has played in 21 matches.
Kessler, 26, made his MLS debut for the Revolution in February 2020. He signed a two-year contract extension in October 2023.
In 96 total matches with New England, he has recorded four goals.
CITY SC has had a rough season, compared to their inaugural season. They currently have a record of 4-10-11 (23 points) and sit 10 points out of a playoff spot.
