PACIFIC, Mo. — A boat being carried by a trailer flipped onto its side, closing the eastbound lanes of Interstate 44 in Pacific, Missouri, Monday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, no one was injured in the crash, which occurred at about 12:10 p.m. The highway closure was expected to last an hour and a half, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation's traveler map.
Video from a MoDOT camera showed the boat spanning all lanes and shoulders of the highway. As of about 2:15 p.m., emergency crews had moved the boat to the right lane, which allowed traffic to start moving again.
