ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Department of Transportation is back at it this weekend with roadwork on Interstate 270.
Starting at 9 p.m. Friday, the ramps from north and south I-270 to Interstate 64 will be closed. This work is to repair the guardrails and repair concrete, and the closures will last until 5 a.m. Monday.
Depending on which direction drivers are coming from, they can use alternate routes like Mason and Spoede roads or Route 141.
Even though this can be a bit of a bummer for weekend plans, keep in mind MoDOT crews will be braving the potentially stormy weather to make necessary improvements to the ramps.
