FLORISSANT, Mo. — Drivers are dealing with some unnecessary slowdowns in Florissant.
A 5 On Your Side viewer reached out about it: “People trying to get to Dunn Road off of Interstate 270 westbound at Lindbergh are cutting across three lanes after getting off the interstate. It’s dangerous and causes delays every day.”
So, we checked it out. There’s a dedicated lane that should allow drivers to continue straight. But instead of taking that path, many drivers are holding up traffic by waiting to make a U-turn across three lanes to access Dunn Road.
Don’t panic, just continue to Taylor Road. Making a left onto Taylor will get you to Dunn much easier. If we can get more awareness of this move, it will certainly decrease traffic headaches, and that’s what we want!
