Major construction is starting around Mid Rivers Mall.
Mid Rivers Mall Drive is being widened on the north side of I-70, lanes are being added across the interstate, and a pedestrian and bike trail is being built.
It's supposed to improve safety and reduce congestion around Mid Rivers Mall.
Construction got started Wednesday, and is slated to continue through the end of September.
