ST. LOUIS – Work to install a 90-inch sewer pipe in south St. Louis will continue through next week, the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District announced Friday.
MSD is installing the pipe along McCausland Avenue to help alleviate flooding and backups in St. Louis, Maplewood, and Richmond Heights. The road closed Feb. 9 between Southwest Avenue and Arsenal Street, and work was expected to take at least two weeks, but inclement weather has caused a one-week delay.
A spokesperson for MSD says crews expect to reopen McCausland Monday, March 2.
