ST. LOUIS — If you use Interstate 64/Highway 40 to get to downtown St. Louis, be aware of this ramp closure that may affect your commute for the coming weeks.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the 14th Street ramp (Exit 39A) from I-64 for three weeks, starting on Monday, Feb. 26 after the morning rush hour. Crews will work to replace the signal at the base of the ramp.
The closure will affect drivers heading to the Enterprise Center for St. Louis Blues hockey games, concerts and additional events happening throughout the coming weeks.
MoDOT estimated the closure will last about three weeks.
If you're not ready for the closure, it will sneak up on you. The very next exit you can use is on the left side of the highway, the 11th Street ramp. The last exit in Missouri is next at 6th Street.
