ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - All lanes of Interstate 64 in Chesterfield Valley will close, starting April 4, to remove the Chesterfield Parkway and old Chesterfield Airport Road bridges, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The Chesterfield Parkway Bridge will close ahead of the construction on April 1. Chestrfield Parkway will be closed between Wild Horse Creek Road and Swingley Ridge, starting April 4 at 8 p.m.

For Chesterfield Parkway traffic, for those traveling eastbound I-64, MoDOT suggests exiting 19A and take a left onto Horse Creek Road. Follow the road back onto the highway. For westbound, exit 19A and go right. From there, take the Chesterfield Parkway ramp back to I-64.

For detours around Chesterfield Airport Road, MoDOT suggests eastbound travelers take Chesterfield Airport Road to Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard and turn left. Follow the road until you reach the highway.

If you're traveling westbound, take exit 14 and take the roundabout to the second leg. Follow the new north outer road for I-64.

All lanes are expected to reopen Monday, April 7 at 5 a.m.
