How to share feedback on MoDOT's Route 100 Corridor improvement project

Missouri Route 100 encountered 1,500 crashes from 2017 to 2021. That's five times the state average for similar roads.

ST. LOUIS — Manchester is no party, anywhere. But if you follow it into the city, it can get even more bumpy and maybe a little confusing.

Missouri Route 100 encountered 1,500 crashes from 2017 to 2021. That's five times the state average for similar roads. So, the Missouri Department of Transportation has allocated $2 million in "safety funds" to improve the situation. That means creating raised medians, new crosswalks and designated bike lanes.

MoDOT also wants your feedback and ideas. It just wrapped up its public meeting about Route 100. If you weren't able to make it, you haven't missed your chance to contribute to the thinking. Submit your feedback online to MoDOT engineers by Tuesday, July 9.

Road work will begin in 2025.
