PEVELY, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Transportation announced it will close all lanes of northbound and southbound Interstate 55 at Highway Z in Pevely from midnight to 5 a.m. Sunday to relocate a transmission line.
Ameren crews will relocate a transmission line that crosses I-55 south of the Highway Z interchange, weather permitting, MoDOT officials said in a written statement.
Detour signage will direct I-55 traffic to exit at the I-55/Highway Z interchange or the I-55 McNutt Road interchange and use Highway 61-67 to bypass the closed section of I-55.
