TOWN AND COUNTRY -- All lanes of northbound Hwy 141 at Clayton Road were closed around 11:30 a.m. due to a multi-vehicle accident.
A spokesperson for West County EMS and Fire says 10 cars were involved -- three sustained moderate damage. The other seven cars involved received only minor damage.
The scene of the accident was cleared around noon.
Three people were transported to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The accident occurred when a driver swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle, causing both vehicles to hit a third.
