MetroLink trains will not run between two stations on Saturday, June 17, and Sunday, June 18, due to rail maintenance work.

ST. LOUIS — MetroLink trains will not run between two stations this weekend in St. Louis due to rail maintenance work.

Trains between the Central West End and Union Station MetroLink Stations on Saturday, June 17, and Sunday, June 18. Riders will be transported via Station Shuttles between the Central West End, Grand, Union Station and MetroLink Stations.

MetroLink advises riders to plan ahead and allow around 20 minutes for their commute.

MetroLink trains operating outside of the area will provide regularly scheduled weekend service, with trains operating every 20 minutes. Bus shuttles will not serve the Cortex Station, the release said.

Westbound riders heading downtown from the east are encouraged to exit the train at the Civic Center Station for the bus shuttles to the Grand and Central West End Stations.

Riders who are heading to Union Station should remain on the train at the Civic Center and exit the train upon arrival at Union Station.

Single-car trains will operate on both the Red Line and Blue Line throughout the weekend.

Trains will resume on Monday, June 19.
