ST. LOUIS — Another batch of light snow moved through St. Louis on Monday evening, leaving a dusting to an inch of powdery snow in most areas. Temperatures remain in the single digits above zero through the evening hours Tuesday.
A Wind Chill Warning continues for our northern counties of the 5 On Your Side Coverage area. A Wind Chill Advisory continues for the rest of the 5 On Your Side counties. This includes the metro St. Louis area. Both the warning and the advisory are in effect through 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Wind Chill Warnings and Advisories remain in place Tuesday. Wind chills will be from -10 to -30 degrees during the early morning Tuesday.
Monday night's snow may cause issues on the roads. Watch your step and drive carefully, as some spots will be icy.
Temperatures are not expected to climb above freezing for any of the St. Louis region until Wednesday afternoon.
When finally get on the other end of this by Wednesday, but it looks like another brief cold blast will arrive by the end of the week. Next week, milder air moves in with numerous rain chances as highs will mostly be in the 40s and lows after next Monday, above freezing.
