Grafton mayor puts out call for sandbaggers

GRAFTON, Ill — The Mayor of Grafton is looking for help keeping water out of his town.

Mayor Rick Eberlin said they are looking for help sandbagging after the latest crest projection rose again. The crest is forecast to reach 35.5 feet next Tuesday.

Anyone willing to help is asked to meet at the United Methodist Church on 100 East Main Street in Grafton, Illinois. Crews will be out until sunset.
