ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The St. Louis County Emergency Operations Center is working with multiple agencies to monitor flooding conditions and provide assistance to people affected by flooding Tuesday.

The Affton Community Center in St. Louis County was opened as an emergency shelter for people Tuesday night. The original shelter at the Mid County YMCA was scheduled to close Tuesday at 9 p.m.

The shelter will provide a place to stay for individuals and families affected by flooding. It will also offer food and essential services.

Anyone impacted by the flooding should report damage by calling 211 or 1-800-427-4626. The damage reports help the county assess the extent of flooding damage and coordinate recovery resources.
