A cold front has passed through the area with much colder weather filtering into Missouri and Illinois. Clearing happens tonight with lows in the 30s and the wind will die down to near 5 or 6 mph. Areas of frost are possible south and west of St. Louis. A frost advisory has been issued from 1 A.M. until 8 A.M. Thursday. Protect all tender vegetation.
