ST. LOUIS — Wind speeds picked up overnight and will continue all day long. While wind gusts Sunday will not be as strong last week, it will still be the weather story of the day.
As of 6 a.m. wind gusts have come in at just under 40 miles per hour.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory through 6 p.m. Sunday. Wind speeds will be sustained out of the west 15 - 25 miles per hour with gusts to 45.
Another important forecast note, areas north of St. Louis will see a touch of snow. With the blowing wind, visibility during the snow showers will greatly diminish.
While not widespread, rain/snow showers will be scattered throughout the day.
