St. Louis is lucky to have incredible weather for St. Patrick's Day

ST. LOUIS — The Dogtown St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Irish Festival forecast will be a very warm one, lucky for us!

Is must be the luck of the Irish, the St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Dogtown on Thursday will be in the 70s. Our average high for this time of year is in the mid-50s, we will likely be 20 degrees higher.

A cold front approaches us on Thursday. The timing is fantastic for all St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Rain will hold off until late Thursday night when widespread rain and a few thunderstorms move into the area. 

Thursday starts off near 50 in the morning, by 11 a.m. we will be in the 60s and 70s by the afternoon. Highs will likely top out in the mid-70s with a warm southwest wind. Clouds will be on the increase, but we will have some sunshine mixing in with the clouds. 

At 9 a.m. temperature will be in the 50s.

Looking at the futurecast below, the rain doesn't look to be widespread until early Friday morning. We will have rain and some thunder all day on Friday. The thunderstorms are not expected to be severe with Friday's system.

Friday's rainfall will be widespread with totals likely ranging from half an inch to an inch for most areas.

This parade is hosted by the city and the St. Charles Division of Ancient Order of Hibernians. It starts at the Foundry Art Centre and goes down South Main Street.
