ST. LOUIS — A line of heavy rain and storms will track through late Saturday evening and linger into Sunday.
Parts of the 5 On Your Side viewing area are under a Storm Prediction Center-issued marginal risk for severe storms tonight.
Severe storms are possible for areas along and south I-70. Damaging winds are the main concern as these storms hit the bi-state tonight. Brief tornadoes are also possible, but less likely.
Rain will pick up Saturday evening, but the heavy rain and storms will arrive overnight. Thunderstorms, some severe, will mostly affect St. Louis between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Rain will linger around for Sunday, mostly in Illinois. Severe weather is not forecast for Sunday.
