ST. LOUIS — Our most recently issued tornado warning was issued for Perry county Illinois until 9:45 p.m.
The severe weather threat in Missouri is now greatly reduced. There is still a chance for stronger storms over the easternmost part of the 5 On Your Side viewing area. As the night continues and the leading edge of the main line of storms moves farther east, the severe threat there will decrease too.

Severe thunderstorms have been moving through southwest Missouri Tuesday afternoon. Damaging winds and even a few tornadoes have been reported so far. The storms will likely maintain a significant severe threat as they move into the metro area this evening.
The main push into the metro area is between 6 and 9pm.
The St. Louis Cardinals have already postponed tonight's baseball game with the Royals.
Power outages are possible tonight.
Heavy rain will also fall, with upwards of 1-inch expected across the region. A flash flood watch is in force through midnight.
Our weather turns calm for Wednesday with hotter temperatures in the upper 80s. Expect hot and summer-like weather for the rest of the week into the holiday weekend with occasional thunderstorms.
