Later Friday evening, and most likely during the overnight hours Friday, strong to severe storms will again develop along and north of that boundary. The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted much of the area for the risk of severe storms with damaging winds, hail and isolated tornadoes.
The threat of severe weather diminishes after daybreak on Saturday. Muggy weather will then last into the beginning of next week with afternoon high temperatures by Sunday into Tuesday reaching into the lower 90s.
