Clouds, storms and showers have been replaced by sun, cool temps and a whole lot of wind. At least for today.
Deep low pressure north and east, weak high pressure west and a tight pressure gradient in between the two is the stuff of a northwest wind that'll make one's TV hair move. Not much, maybe, but a little.
Highs today will approach 70 but those northwest winds will steal from what, otherwise, would be a perfect day. That's coming tomorrow, though!
Overnight, winds slow down, temperatures cool down and lows will fall into the 40s for all but the heart of the metro.
Wednesday will be warmer, a lot less windy and mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 70s.
Thursday the clouds arrive and, with them, showers and storms with highs near 70. Then Friday through the weekend expect showers and storms and highs in the low to mid 80s.
