ST. LOUIS -- A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the greater St. Louis area. The weather condition story all day Monday has been heat, humidity with a chance for a storm today and tomorrow.
Expect a front, currently to our north, to move southward through our area, bringing us slightly cooler temperatures in the 80s.
Isolated thunderstorms will continue through the week, but it is all but impossible to time them out due to the nature of this weather pattern. A stronger front rolls our way next weekend, until then expect above average temps and at least the threat for a storm.
Near record highs in the 90s to start the week.
