Tune in to 5 On Your Side on January 29th to take part in the Second Chances Telethon!

ST. LOUIS — The Humane Society of Missouri’s annual Second Chances Telethon is live on 5 On Your Side tonight from 7-8pm! President of the Humane Society of Missouri, Kathy Warnick, is here with her pal Buddy to tell us more.

You can expect to see both Kathy and Buddy at the telethon tonight, January 29. Buddy will be starring with Andy Cohen as he is the celebrity spokesperson for the Humane Society of Missouri’s 150th Anniversary.

The telethon benefits the Animal Cruelty Task Force at the Humane Society of Missouri. They are thrilled to be able to offer St. Louisans the chance to support animals in desperate need. Also, tonight Purina will be doubling gifts up to $25,000!

ST. LOUIS - The Humane Society of Missouri rescued 25 dogs and 1 cat from a hoarding situation in Hickory County. A spokesperson from the Humane Society of Missouri said the owner passed away in the home more than a week before the animals were found.

You will meet all kinds of animals from dogs to cats and even horses! If you donate more than $150, you will receive a terrific tumbler in celebration of their 150th Anniversary. The Humane Society of Missouri is one of the oldest institutions in St. Louis.

You can donate online at HSMO.org/telethon, and watch tonight on 5 On Your Side from 7-8PM.
