ST. LOUIS — In a time of social distancing, many people are coming up with creative ways to show their appreciation for those in the health care industry.
Several signs popped up at St. Louis area hospitals this week. Signs like “heroes work here” and “thank you for all you do” were placed outside of SSM Health hospitals.
A spokesperson from SSM Health hospitals said ‘Sign Gypsies’ made the expressions of encouragement. “All SSM Health hospitals in St. Louis got a little reminder today that underneath their scrubs and work clothes are superhero capes,” spokesperson Sara Ward said.
“Because Heroes Do Work Here! Thank you to our nurses, doctors, therapists, environmental services, food services and all that strive everyday to provide exceptional care. You are our HEROES and WE THANK YOU!” SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital wrote on Facebook.
