ST. LOUIS — Independence Day is right around the corner!
If you are looking for a beautiful display in the sky, live entertainment or a family fun event, there are plenty of options in the St. Louis area.
5 On Your Side has compiled a list of local fireworks shows scheduled this year:
St. Louis and St. Louis County
The downtown St. Louis Fourth of July tradition is back!
On July 4, the celebration begins at 10 a.m. with a parade of floats, dancers, bands and more. The day-long also consists of an airshow, music and an impressive firework display at the end of the evening.
- When: Parade begins at 10 a.m.; fireworks at 9:40 p.m.
- Where: Downtown St. Louis
On July 4, a parade will kick off the day at 10 a.m. starting at St. James Subdivision. Then at 6 p.m., concessions, food trucks and live music will happen before the fireworks show at dusk!
- When: Parade at 10 a.m., festival at 6 p.m. and fireworks at dusk.
- Where: Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex (13161 Taussig Road).
Live entertainment, food trucks, inflatables, pony rides, petting zoo and so much more will be at the Chesterfield Fourth of July Celebration!
When: Doors open 6 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m.
Where: Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex (17925 North Outer 40 Road).
Enjoy live music, food trucks and a fireworks display at the Eurkea Independence Day Celebration!
- When: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 4; fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
- Where: Central Avenue Spur (394 South Central Ave.)
The annual Ferguson Fourth of July Parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the Ferguson Fire Department and end at January-Wabash Memorial Park. A festival and fireworks will follow the parade.
The festival will include inflatables, music, food and more.
- When: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. festival; fireworks begin at dusk
- Where: January-Wabash Memorial Park (501 N. Florissant Road).
Celebrate the Fourth of July with an evening filled with live music, food trucks and a spectacular fireworks display!
- When: July 4 - Food trucks start at 5 p.m. and live music begins at 7 p.m. Fireworks begin after dark.
- Where: Kirkwood Park (111 S Geyer Road)
The highly anticipated annual Fourth of July Celebration is back in Manchester. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and the World Famous Fireworks Spectacular will kick off later in the evening.
- When: Festivities begin a 6 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m.
- Where: Schroeder Park (359 Old Meramec Station Road).
Six Flags St. Louis will celebrate Independence Day with thrilling rides, music and a specular fireworks display.
- When: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 4-6
- Where: Six Flags St. Louis (4900 Six Flags Road).

The Fourth of July celebrations in Webster Groves will begin on July 3 with a children's pet parade.
Only July 4, a community parade will begin at 10 a.m.
The Webster Groves Lions Club Carnival and BBQ will also take place throughout the holiday week from July 3-6. The carnival does require an admission fee.
Fireworks will also take place on July 4 at Memorial Field.

Metro East
Enjoy live entertainment ahead of the Alton Fireworks Spectacular in Riverfront Park!
- When: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 3. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
- Where: Alton Amphitheater, 1 Riverfront Dr.
An entire day of festivities and events is planned for Columbia, Illinois, on July 4. Concessions open at 11 a.m., festivities will be available throughout the day and live music will start at 5:30 p.m.
- When: Begins at 11 a.m. July 4
- Where: American Legion Park
The City of Edwardsville and the Edwardsville American Legion Post #199 are hosting the Fourth of July Fireworks & Festivities. Enjoy a concert, food trucks and plenty of other activities throughout the day.
- When: All day on Saturday, July 6; fireworks at 9 p.m.
- Where: American Legion Post #199 (58 S. State Route 157, Edwardsville, Illinois)
The Gateway Grizzlies in Sauget, Illinois, will celebrate Independence Day with fireworks shows after their games on July 3 and 4.
- When: Gates open 6:05 p.m., first patch at 7:05 p.m. July 3-4

Celebrate Independence Day with the Village of Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department.
- When: 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 4; fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
- Where: Glazebrook Park (1401 Stamper Lane, Godfrey, Illinois)
The Granite City Park District will host the Patriots in the Park Celebration on July 4 and will include music, food, rides and a fireworks show. On July 6, there will also be a 5K run/walk, car show and vendor fair.
- When: Begins at 6 p.m.; fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
- Where: Granite City Park District (2900 Benton St. Granite City, Illinois).
Pack your blankets and grab your lawn chairs to watch the fireworks display in Highland, Illinois.
- When: 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 4
- Where: Korte Rec Center (2 Nagel Dr.)
The Annual Fireworks Over O'Fallon will be held on July 3.
- When: Fireworks at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) on July 3.
- Where: O’Fallon Family Sports Park (301 Obernuefemann Road).
This Fourth of July celebration will be an all-day event and fun for the whole family. Enjoy carnival rides, bounce houses, food and drinks and a foam party.
- When: Noon to 9:30 p.m. celebration; fireworks 9:30 p.m.
- Where: Scheve Park (Harnett Street & Harper Road)
St. Charles County
Live music, a carnival, food vendors and fireworks will all be available during a two-day celebration at the St. Charles Riverfest!
- When: Noon to 10 p.m. July 4-5; fireworks begin at 9:20 p.m. each day
- Where: Riverside Drive (222 S. Riverside Dr.)
The Heritage & Freedom Fest will celebrate Independence Day from July 3-6! The celebration will have free activities, sideshows and concerts.
- When: Various times July 3-6
- Where: Ozzie Smith Sports Complex (900 TR Hughes Blvd).
Weldon Spring will host a full day of events including a kid zone party, music, food trucks and fireworks.
- When: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 4; fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
- Where: Weldon Spring City Park (5401 Independence Road).
Wentzville's Fourth of July Celebration will include a parade and a free fireworks show.
The annual parade starts at 10 a.m. at the Wentzville Ice Arena. This year's theme is "America's Celebration."
Fireworks will also light up the sky the same evening.

Jefferson County, Missouri
The Arnold Independence Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 29! Enjoy activities for the whole family, food and drinks and much more!
When: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. June 29
Where: Arnold City Park (2400 Bradley Beach Road).
Big River VFW Post 5331 in Cedar Hill will host a Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, July 6. Enjoy barbecue, live music and a fireworks show at dark.
- When: Begins at 2 p.m.; fireworks at dark on July 6
- Where: 1 Lynn Ln, Cedar Hill, Missouri.
Enjoy a hometown celebration for Independence Day. Pony rides, face painting, treats, food and a fireworks show will happen on July 4.
- When: Gates open 6 p.m. July 4; fireworks at dusk.
- Where: Jefferson County Fairgrounds (10349 Business 21, Hillsboro, Missouri)
On June 30, the First Baptist Church in Arnold will host a spectacular fireworks display on their campus. Bring your lawn chairs and they will broadcast a special selection of music you can listen to from your car.
- When: Parking lots open at 8:45 p.m.; fireworks at 9:30 p.m. June 30.
- Where: 2012 Missouri State Road, Arnold, Missouri.
