MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — A new grocery store offering food at affordable prices is coming this month to west St. Louis County.
The grand opening for the new Aldi location at 12632 Dorsett Road in Maryland Heights will be next Thursday, Feb. 29, according to a news release from the grocery chain. Doors will open at 8:45 a.m. following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Rob Jeffries, O’Fallon vice president for Aldi, in a statement. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Maryland Heights and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
The first 100 customers on Feb. 29 will receive a gift bag filled with fan-favorite products and a gift card worth up to $100. You must be 18 years or older and live within 50 miles of the store to receive the gift.
During the store's opening weekend, Fe. 29 through March 3, customers can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card, according to the release. No purchase is required.
The Maryland Heights store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and offer curbside pickup and grocery delivery options, according to a release from Aldi.
