ST. LOUIS — A man was stabbed to death after an argument with his girlfriend turned violent early Sunday morning in north St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers found the 31-year-old man just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday inside a vehicle in the 10000 block of Riverview Drive. The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, told police she and her boyfriend had been driving, and her boyfriend pulled into North Riverfront Park after they began arguing.
The woman told police the man began assaulting her, repeatedly punching her in the face and choking her while on top of her. That's when she pulled out a knife and stabbed him.
Police identified the man Wednesday as Renn Hudson of Castle Point, Missouri.
The Homicide Division assumed the ongoing investigation, police said.
