Man found shot in Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood Tuesday morning

ST. LOUIS — An investigation is underway after a man was shot along the edge of St. Louis’ Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood Tuesday morning.

Police responded to the 5300 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive around 7:15 a.m.

Police said a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was not conscious or breathing when they arrived. The homicide unit has been requested to the scene.

Around 12:15 p.m., police said the man died at a hospital.

No other details have been made available.
