FBI searching for armed and dangerous bank robber from Florissant

Ricard Rusan is wanted for allegedly robbing two banks with a handgun.

ST. LOUIS — The FBI is asking for the public’s help to find a man who is wanted for robbing two St. Louis area banks earlier this year.

Ricard Rusan is wanted for allegedly robbing two banks with a handgun. The Commerce Bank was robbed on April 16 in Clayton and the Bank of America was robbed on April 18 in St. Peters.

The robber wore a blue mask. On June 21, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Rusan.

He was last known to reside in Florissant. The 53-year-old fugitive has been federally charged with committing two armed bank robberies. People can remain anonymous when submitting tips to St. Louis Regional CrimeStoppers at 1-866-371-8477.
