ST. LOUIS — ST. LOUIS - Police are looking for a man they said shot a woman while she was driving on Interstate 70 in St. Louis right at the beginning of the evening commute Tuesday.
It happened at 4:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes near W. Florissant Avenue.
The 27-year-old woman told police she was driving on I-70 when someone in a silver Mercedes Benz started shooting at her car. At least one of the bullets hit her.
On Thursday, police released a photo showing a man hanging out of a car and holding a handgun.
The woman said she didn't recognize the man who shot her.
Emergency crews rushed her to the hospital. She was stable but listed in critical condition.
Police have not released any further details at this time. The investigation is still active.
