1 killed in motorcycle crash in St. Ann

According to St. Ann police, an erratic-driving motorcycle sped off after a police car turned on its lights to follow it and then hit a car on St. Charles Rock Road.

ST ANN, Mo. -- A person was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday morning in St. Ann.

According to St. Ann police, a motorcycle was spotted driving erratically on St. Charles Rock Road.

A police car turned on its lights to follow the motorcycle but that’s when the motorcycle sped off and hit a car. The driver of the motorcycle died.

The road was closed for a few hours while police investigated and is now reopened.

No other details have been released.
