Seafood chain that appeared on 'Shark Tank' plans St. Louis expansion

ST. LOUIS — Cousins Maine Lobster, a national fast-casual seafood chain, says it is pursuing franchisees to have a permanent presence in St. Louis.

Cousins Maine Lobster has operated locally on a temporary basis locally, as part of road shows that involve the brand bringing its fare to new cities. It will return next week to St. Louis for another road show, coming as Cousin Maine Lobster says it’s seeking out franchisees for full-time operations in the St. Louis region.

Cousins Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis founded Cousins Maine Lobster in 2012 and garnered national attention after appearing on reality show "Shark Tank" and inking a $55,000 investment deal with investor Barbara Corcoran.

Cousins Maine Lobster’s upcoming St. Louis visit will include operating pop-up locations locally from June 26-30 at the following locations:

  • Blue Jay Brewing, June 26
  • Ellisville Square Shopping Center, June 27
  • Second Shift Brewing, June 28-29
  • Millpond Brewing, June 30
