Ferguson police officer finishes cutting grass for woman who injured herself

FERGUSON, Mo. — One police officer did his part to protect and serve a woman in Ferguson, Missouri, Sunday morning.

In a Facebook post, the Ferguson Police Department said Officer Gregory Adams was called to a home for a medical emergency. The woman injured herself while cutting the grass and needed medical attention.

She would not be able to finish cutting the grass, so Officer Adams decided to do it for her.

Officer Adams responded to an incident where the resident was injured and required further medical assistance. Officer Adams took it upon himself to finish cutting the grass for the resident. Officer...

Officer Adams is a 27-year law enforcement veteran and has been with the Ferguson Police Department for the last two and a half years.
