ST. LOUIS — The route for Monday's funeral procession for Officer Michael Langsdorf has been set.
The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis located at 4431 Lindell Boulevard. The interment, immediately following the funeral, will be at Resurrection Cemetery at 6901 MacKenzie Road.
The route from the cathedral to the cemetery is as follows:
- West on Lindell
- South on Kingshighway
- West on Chippewa
- Chippewa turns into Watson
- Left on MacKenzie Road to the cemetery
MacKenzie will be closed in both directions along the cemetery during the burial service.
Langsdorf was shot and killed while responding to a call in Wellston last Sunday.
Bonette Kymbrelle Meeks, 26, is facing one count of first-degree murder, one count of armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm and one felony count of resisting arrest in the shooting death of officer Langsdorf.
Langsdorf was 40 years old and employed by the North County Police Cooperative since April 2019. He had 17 years of prior experience before joining the North County Police Cooperative.
Langsdorf leaves behind two children and a fiancé.
