Here's when St. Louis' Olympians compete again

Multiple athletes from the St. Louis area have qualified for the Olympic Games and are set to compete soon. Here's when.

PARIS, Mo. — The kickoff to the 2024 Paris Olympics has arrived, and residents around St. Louis will soon be able to cheer for their hometown heroes as they compete on the world's stage.

Ceremonies, gymnastics, soccer and more marked the beginning of the Games on July 26, which will last through Aug. 11 with over 10,000 athletes representing their respective countries.

Multiple athletes from the St. Louis area have qualified for the Games and are set to compete soon. An updated list of the athletes who have qualified for the Games, and when they compete, can be found below.

Jayson Tatum, Basketball - Aug. 10

St. Louis native Jayson Tatum and USA men's basketball will compete at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 10 for a gold medal in the final against France.

Emily Sisson, Track & Field - Aug. 11

The Chesterfield Parkway Central High School graduate will compete in the marathon at 1 a.m. on Aug. 11. 

Napheesa Collier, Basketball - Aug. 11

St. Charles native Napheesa Collier and Team USA women's basketball won against Australia in the semifinals! Team USA plays in the finals at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 11.
