ST. LOUIS — Even though St. Louis CITY SC lost its Decision Day match against the Seattle Sounders by a score of 2-0, the team still finished its inaugural Major League Soccer season with 17 wins—the most by an expansion club—and secured a trip to the MLS Cup Playoffs.
And in St. Louis, no matter the sport, with the postseason comes a host of watch parties and other shows of support for the hometown team.
If you didn’t snag tickets to the sold-out match one of round one of the playoffs on Oct. 29, you can still be a part of the excitement and cheer on CITY SC at the free official playoffs watch party at Lou Fusz Plaza on the east side of CITYPARK.
Fans can bring blankets and lawn chairs—and their pets—to watch the team on the big screen while joining in the cheers and chants inside CITYPARK. Food and drinks are also available for sale.
On Nov. 5, CITY SC will host a free away match watch party at the ULTRA Club at CITYPARK. The team said it would announce more details on it soon.
Fans who can’t make it to CITYPARK can watch the matches at one of the dozens of restaurants and bars in the St. Louis region that are official CITY On Tap locations.
