ST. LOUIS — The Paris Olympic Games kicks off tomorrow evening! All month long the Show Me team has prepared for this moment and decided to do our own version of the Olympic Games, called the Show Me Games, sponsored by the Greater Region YMCA.
Over the entire month of July, you have seen Mary, Mary, and Malik compete head-to-head in training, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and swimming.
Thursday morning, the Show Me team went live on the television plaza as we wrapped up our Show Me Games with an exciting award ceremony. It would only be right if we had invited their personal trainer, Zae, from the YMCA, back to tally up the scores and reveal a winner.
It was some fierce competition and we even had kids from the YMCA cast their vote for who they thought the winner would be.
In the end, each team member won a competition, but the real winners were the kids who enjoyed playing sports at the YMCA.
