ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The body pulled from the Mississippi River Tuesday night was identified as a man reported missing out of St. Louis County earlier this week.
George Richard Huber, 70, was reported missing Sunday morning after he drove away from his home on Ashbury Drive.
Police found his vehicle in Jefferson Barracks Park Tuesday afternoon before launching a rescue mission in the waters of the flooded Mississippi River. Tuesday evening, a man's body was pulled from the water.
That body was identified as Huber's Wednesday when police announced an end to their search.
